The Recurring Phrase component has been improved significantly. Users can now create, edit and delete Phrases. They can also create new Phrases directly from the Search within mention feature of the Mentions component.
There are new advanced search options for Queries and Phrases. Now search strings can be case-sensitive (using e.g. “raw:BAA” or “raw:Sky”), they can match punctuation (using e.g. “raw:Sky+” or “raw:#brandwatch”, which is very useful for Twitter monitoring) and they can be purely negative (using e.g. “NOT viagra”).
Last and not least, Brandwatch now covers Google Buzz. Our crawlers find new Buzz users on a daily basis, and frequently check them for new ‘Buzzes’.
