Some key findings from the 1000 analysed social media comments about 3D:
No 3D movies have lived up to Avatar since its release in 2009.
Complaints include: high prices, uncomfortable glasses, inappropriate use of 3D, underwhelming 3D effects, heavy-handed 3D use and headaches.
Viewer sentiment shows a clear swing from positive anticipation to negative post-viewing reflection.
