Email alerts

The Alerts feature in Brandwatch Analytics helps you stay on top of what people are saying about your brand without the need to login. Alerts deliver notifications about shifts in your data to your email address.

Alerts are quick and easy to set up. You can choose to notify any email address, even those without logins.

There are two different types of Alerts: Custom Alerts and Threshold Alerts.

Custom Alerts

Custom Alerts notify you when new mentions match criteria set by you. You can choose the frequency of your notifications.

These Alerts also allow you to receive updates based on manually set filters and search strings.

There are many ways you can use Custom Alerts to stay ahead. Use Custom Alerts to notify you when:

  • There is a negative mention about your brand.
  • Someone expresses purchase intent about your products.
  • You receive a press hit from a news site.
  • An influencer is talking about your brand.

You can also use Custom Alerts to keep an eye on what your competitors are up to.

Threshold Alerts

Threshold Alerts notify you whenever a Query increases in volume above a certain threshold. For example, when a Query doubles in volume.

Threshold Alerts let you know when there are big spikes in conversation, such as tracking an escalating PR crisis.

They can also be set up with the use of any filter, meaning you can set triggers around changes in a subset of your data, such as negative sentiment, influential mentions or a particular page type.

They are also useful for managing your monthly mentions allowance.
