Every tracked mention in Brandwatch Analytics includes an array of metadata that will help you extract valuable insights from the platform.

Available metadata includes:

  • Timestamp
  • Page type
  • Location (continent, country, region, city and geolocation)
  • Sentiment (positive, negative or neutral)
  • Twitter engagement metrics (RTs, replies and impressions)
  • Author name
  • Author demographics (gender, interests and profession)

We also include website data such as number of visitors/month, number of backlinks and MozRank.

It’s this metadata that powers Brandwatch Analytics’ filtering capabilities, allowing you to slice and dice your data in anyway you see fit.

You can take all this data out of the platform, either through our API or through the data exporting options, which include image, CSV, and Excel formats.
