Grandes Noticias! Brandwatch Speaks Spanish

As Brandwatch’s first community manager for Spanish markets, the past four months has been particularly busy for me – and now, all that work is ready for sharing.

Today I can happily announce that Brandwatch is fluent in Spanish, from the launch of a full Spanish website, right through to Spanish-speaking account management and commercial teams. The recently launched Brandwatch Academy is now available in Spanish too, including full tech support and the help center.

This builds on our already international-friendly product, which supports more languages than any other tool on the market.

Rather than simply add a language for the crawlers to scrape data from the web in, when we provide coverage for a particular vernacular we go the full distance – meaning our sentiment analysis, topic extraction and other analytic features are all available in 27 languages, one of which is Spanish of course.

Brandwatch has long offered quality data from Spanish markets in the platform, and plenty of the team here come from latin backgrounds too, with roles as diverse as project coordinators, account executives, Java developers, QA engineers and salespeople, from places as far-flung as Spain, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Peru.

Our moves towards providing Spanish brands and agencies with better Spanish services have already been recognised.

Our Spanish-speaking clients gave us an average of 8.5 out of 10 when we asked them how likely they were to recommend us. We shared the full results of this survey here, if you want to dig a little deeper.

However, we are still not satisfied. The aim is 10/10, and we’ll be constantly trying to offer even more with every week that passes – that means producing more content specifically for Spanish markets, as well as adding and increasing the number of other services available in Spanish, such as product updates, events and case studies.

¿Qué hay?

As is hopefully becoming apparent, we’re not just translating the website and a few resources and leaving it at that.

Our ongoing efforts for these markets include:

  • Reports: we have translated some of our most recent reports, focusing specifically on different industries, and featuring how social listening is used at some of the most innovative brands in that sector
  • Case studies: showcases of some our clients’ successes, complete with analysis on how they’ve achieved it. We’ll be looking to produce some new stories with Spanish brands too, so do get in touch if you have a compelling case you’d like to share with the world.
  • New blog posts every week, with information and tips about how to get the most out of Brandwatch, as well as tales from the frontlines in social media monitoring and beyond.
  • A new section that thoroughly explains what Brandwatch is and what we do; how social media monitoring works and the benefits that can be achieved for your company.
  • Brandwatch Academy: regular training webinars, an exhaustive help center, extensive customer support and more, all available right now in Spanish.
  • Social media: we’ve started new accounts on Twitter and Facebook, written in the Spanish tongue; tailored for Spanish eyes.
