Brandwatch Update: Our CMO’s View on our Win at The Europas

Honestly, we’re blooming delighted right now – as our internal Slack channel can attest.

Last night we won at The Europas the award for Best Marketing Startup, amongst a peer group of other great startups we respect, such as Datasift, Adludio and Teads.
Awesome video-platform wizards Brainient won the award last year, and we’ve been intrigued to watch their business grow and evolve since.

So what?

No, actually. Not this time. And I’ll tell you why.

Because 323 people work too hard to let moments like this go.

Because when you’re trying to grow like a flipping Unicorn, things like big, credible industry awards really matter.

Because in our very competitive world, every edge and endorsement we can locate and rinse value from actually matters.

So forgive us (or don’t) for taking a moment to blow our own trumpet. We don’t do it often, but we do when it matters.

Well done to everyone at Brandwatch.

We’re building something that matters, something is fantastic, something that is growing fast because our clients love it, and this is a moment of appreciation for everyone in every team – building on the great recognition we’ve received from both Deloitte and G2Crowd among others in the past few months. Insert fistbump emoji here.

And it wouldn’t be an awards moment without some gushing thanks.

So, thank you to our tireless CTO Fabrice Retkowsky for accepting the award – that felt good to see.
