We have turned the Mentions component into a much more powerful tool to monitor and analyse the mentions of your Queries. Users can now star mentions, tag them, and categorise them by Priority and Status.

Thanks to this, each User can at any time:

  • go through all of his Queries’ latest mentions
  • delete or change the sentiment of any mention in a single click
  • if a mention requires an action, set its priority to High, Medium or Low
  • set the initial status of these mentions to open or pending
  • highlight the most important mentions by ‘starring’ them

Later, the same User, or one of his colleague can:

  • filter and/or sort the mentions by priority and status
  • update the status of mentions which have been dealt with
  • filter the mentions by ‘starring’ status, for example to write up a report on the most important mentions

This really opens up Brandwatch to a full Monitoring and Engagement scenario. Over the next few weeks, we will be adding many more features to make Brandwatch a more powerful solution in engaging with your current and potential customers – so watch this space!
