Thoughts on Brand Sociability from The SB100 Launch Party Community

By Joel Windels on June 1st 2012

You may have noticed we’ve been talking a fair bit about the Social Brands 100 recently, both here on our blog and also across our social media channels.

It’s a celebration of the top social brands in the world today, as Headstream and Brandwatch have partnered together to rank the top 100.

You can see who the winners were in the full report here, and we’ve put together a short highlights video of the event Headstream threw for the report, on the 29th of May.

We held the launch party this week to herald in the list for 2012, and to congratulate the winners on their placing. We took the chance to catch up with some of the attendees to see what they thought about the importance of social in branding.

In the video, you’ll see that we spoke to:

Julius Duncan – a lead orchestrator in the sb100, from Headstream

Aaron Eccles – Cancer Research UK

Paul Coffey – Google UK

Tom Rainsford – Giff Gaff

Ivan Fernandes – Mediacom

Miranda Ballard – Muddy Boots foods

Jason DurkNational Rail

Richard Appleton – Blue Rubicon

If you think that your business should have been in the top 100, or you think we missed one out, make sure to nominate your favourite brand for next year’s report. Let us know what you think!
