You will:

  • Build use-case driven configurations tailored to prospects’ needs, as discovered by the sales leads
  • Create demonstrations tailored to the appropriate audience: from CMO to analyst to community manager
  • Collaborate with sales team leads to find real stories and insights in the data for clients and prospects
  • Introduce bleeding edge social analytics techniques to demonstrate unique ways Brandwatch can solve prospects’ problems and demonstrate and apply features of the product roadmap still in beta
  • Contribute technical knowledge to RFP questions and the questions database
  • Communicate pitch feedback to product teams, and create feature requests as part of the product stakeholder process
  • Serve as the technical lead and owner of technical deal strategy
  • Find ways to continually maximize efficiencies in the technical sales process and support sales results across sales teams and industry verticals
  • Stay current with industry news, competitor landscape, partner offerings and the latest Brandwatch technology updates and configuration techniques
  • Partner with customer success and professional services teams to ensure a stellar experience for new customers

The Renewal Manager focuses on securing existing customer recurring revenue by managing the renewal phase of the customer lifecycle. Introduction to the role

This role sits in the Research Services team, reporting to the Research Manager (RM).  Our team’s mission is to enable clients to use social research to understand their customers and markets, and to make better, data lead decisions. The analysis skills needed are largely qualitative; it is important that the candidate is skilled in interpreting meaning from textual data. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, and able to demonstrate that they can understand consumer motivations and translate these into suggested actions for a business.

Core responsibilities

  • Conduct social listening research using Brandwatch Analytics to a high standard, on time and in accordance with the research brief. Bring your creativity and strategic thinking to solve client problems and encourage them to think big with social.
  • Project manage regular and ad hoc research projects for some of our largest, strategic accounts, with assistance from RM.
  • Collaborate closely with customer success managers to ensure a strong client relationships, actively suggesting research additions and improvements and providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Assist in training and providing feedback for more junior members of the team.
  • Drive creative solutions: new methodologies, new ways of solving problems using Brandwatch data, new ways of improving efficiency.
  • Represent the team internally and externally (including representing Brandwatch at events).
  • Provide consultancy to clients; be the expert in the room.
  • Staying up to date with the social media industry, in particular news relating to new analytical ideas and methodologies.

Candidate qualities

  • A curious, analytical mind that can make sense of qualitative data and make recommendations based on consumer trends.

  • At least 3-4 years experience in a commercial research environment, ideally with some exposure to working with social media data.

  • Able to quickly pick up use of new technologies
  • Well versed in the major channels and sites in social media.

Data is the life-blood of a company like Brandwatch, and as we approach the petabyte mark, the challenges we face are interesting and rewarding. We are looking for someone who would find these challenges interesting and rewarding too.  

You will be joining the team responsible for the data storage and retrieval systems, primarily focusing on Solr, HBase, Hadoop, Zookeeper and Kafka. Some familiarity with PostgreSQL databases would be beneficial, though this is not a primary responsibility of this role.

We are looking for someone who is smart, capable, enthusiastic and willing to learn these systems in greater depth. You will be part of the 24×7 support rota covering these systems, so will need to coolly handle incidents on the platforms and more importantly be working to preempt any issues.

  • Working with the rest of the team to maintain our production Hadoop, HBase, Solr and Kafka infrastructure on a 24×7 basis
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in the platform, including: deep-diving into the source-code to identify issues with the storage systems and working very closely with the developer teams to avoid anti-patterns, and identifying workable alternatives if so

Our product Vizia is installed in the offices of global brands all over the world, making social insights available to all. Gorgeously designed and highly impactful, since it’s launch in 2013 the product has grown at a tremendous rate. We’re looking for a smart, driven product marketing manager to build on this success and accelerate this growth to deliver ambitious revenue targets.

This influential role sits in the product marketing team but will work closely with product and engineering as a core part of the Vizia team, with the opportunity for real impact on the development and positioning of the Vizia product. In addition, you will work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure the delivery of effective value propositions, sales materials and internal training to deliver extraordinary growth.

What will you do?

  • You’ll lead go-to-market by working closely with product, marketing and design teams to define core positioning, pricing and product & marketing strategies. You’ll drive demand and revenue growth through superior copywriting, creative campaigns and effective sales enablement.
  • You’ll develop compelling positioning for existing and new Vizia features and how to differentiate them, including using client feedback to identify value, use cases and core messaging.

  • By providing customer stories and other core materials, and by activating them through regular internal briefings, you’ll aid sales to effectively sell Vizia to new and existing clients.

What do we need?

  • You’ll have strong, demonstrable, relevant experience within a global product marketing role with a SaaS company, ideally in the social/data analytics space.
  • You are both creative and organised, and have excellent copywriting and presentation skills. You must be commercially minded and obsessed with numbers.
  • You are able to work collaboratively with a wide range of functions and personalities, and possess the ability to juggle and prioritise accordingly.

Our Customer Success team is looking for candidates with excellent communication, discovery, and negotiation skills, as well as an affinity for learning new software. The Renewal Manager focuses on securing existing customer recurring revenue by managing the renewal phase of the customer lifecycle. Introduction to the role

This role sits in the Research Services team, reporting to the Research Manager. The purpose of our team is to help clients use social data to make better decisions and to understand their customers. The analysis skills needed are largely qualitative; it is important that the candidate is skilled in interpreting meaning from textual data. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, and able to demonstrate that they can understand consumer motivations and translate these into suggested actions for a business.

Job responsibilities;

  • Conducting analyses following a customized client brief. Writing bespoke one-off and regular reports, working with account managers to ensure delivery is on time, on budget and to client’s satisfaction.
  • Present your research back to the client (both face to face and over the phone) and hold Q&A sessions regarding your work.
  • Project managing/co-ordinating other contributors to complete parts of larger reports.
  • Suggesting and creating compelling research for sales collateral, our blog, industry events and so on.
  • Staying up to date with the social media industry, in particular news relating to new analytical ideas and methodologies.
