Kim Tae-hyung, known professionally as V, is a South Korean singer and member of the esteemed boy band BTS. Since joining the band in 2013, V’s ventured into self-composing and releasing solo songs – and his fanbase is one of the world’s biggest.

V’s career spans more than his music – his influence on fashion also can’t be ignored. We used Brandwatch Discover to search for the influencers with the highest average engagements among the clothing audience interest, and V was top of the list. It’s not hard to understand why.

His impressive Instagram engagement rate of over 22% between November 2022 and April 2023 is – quite frankly – phenomenal. Instagram posts with brands like Celine and Elle have consistently gained tens of millions of likes, demonstrating the significant influence that a single photo can wield over fans.

V’s Instagram gained almost 3 million followers in March 2023, likely due to an increased posting frequency compared to previous months paired with collaborations with Elle and Celine.
