We Knew It! Brandwatch is one of Crain’s Best Places to Work in NYC

Everyone who works at Brandwatch, all positions in all locations, makes a very collaborative effort to make our work environment the absolute best it can be.

And it’s not just the Bagel Fridays, ping pong tournaments, the kegerator (our in-house beer keg!) and countless happy hours that we get to partake in.

It’s the opportunity to work with smart, respectful, and hardworking people everyday.

It’s an awesome combination of working hard and being ambitious, and taking the time to celebrate the good stuff. Picnic lunches in Madison Square Park, candy sushi rolling during lunch and field days in Central Park are regular ways we unwind together (but really, bagels never hurt).

That’s why it is so exciting to be listed as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New York City by Crain’s New York Business.

So, what exactly is the Crain’s Best Places to Work list?

It’s an initiative dedicated to identifying and recognizing New York City’s best employers.  Companies first have to complete a questionnaire, which captures information about company policies, practices, and demographics.

Once submitted, each individual employee has the chance to complete a survey related to their engagement and satisfaction within the workplace.

While Crain’s makes an effort to state that no industry has a monopoly over the best place to work status, we can’t help but notice the impressive list of tech companies that have also made the cut including BuzzFeed, AOL, and EMC Corporation.

And as a company that is continuing to grow and expand year after year, it’s great to know that we aren’t just the “new kids on the block” anymore, especially in a city as dense and populated as New York.

Being a part of this list solidifies us as a serious player in the tech industry and the professional NYC landscape – and we are in great company. Other awesome companies we’ve spotted on the list include Shazam, Droga5, Text100, and ZocDoc.

The number rankings of the top 100 companies will be released on December 5th, so wish us luck and stay tuned! Interested in joining our amazing company? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
