There are many things come Fall that we all look forward to: football, TV show premieres and the changing of leaves. However, if you live in New York, Fall can only mean one thing – fashion week.
When it comes to social media we know a thing or two, but you’d be unlikely to see many of our staff strutting their ensemble around the catwalk. Regardless, that certainly doesn’t mean we haven’t been excited to see what designers have been sketching up in preparation for Spring 2013.
To dip our toes in fashion stilettos while keeping true to our monitoring roots we’re turning up a daily update of who’s hot during New York Fashion Week. Each day we’ll update the top ten designers that are being discussed on social media, ranking the fashionistas in order of online buzz.
Take a peek inside what show has been chatted about most and which designer is “making it work.” By the end of New York Fashion Week you’ll be able to see who worked their way through the fashion rankings.
Well folks, as fashion week winds down the buzz continues to strut its stuff. Michael Kors was able to snatch the third spot bumping Donna Karan to fourth. And Marc Jacobs has been sitting comfortably ever since showing his line on Monday at number one. As we tie off our data search stay tuned for a round up of all the New York fashion week social buzz and see who ended up having the biggest social splash of the season.
Once Spring 2013 blooms up it will be interesting to see if the social trend setters from Fashion Week 12′ are the most successful lines. Are you surprised by the social fashion rankings?
