Brandwatch is owned by Cision, and as such, has adopted the governance policy positions of Cision. Below, you will find an explanation of the relationship between Brandwatch and our parent company Cision. There is also a list of links to our shared governance documents, which can also be found on the Cision website.

1. Who is Cision?

Cision is a comprehensive communications platform enabling more than 100,000 public relations and marketing professionals around the world to understand, influence and amplify their stories.

In order to expand their offering to support customers with a social intelligence use case, in 2021 Cision made the decision to purchase Brandwatch. Prior to that, Cision had also purchased a company called Falcon. As of 2022, Falcon and Brandwatch have combined into one entity – Brandwatch.

2. Governance Policies

Brandwatch is required to comply with certain governance and legislation in various jurisdictions. As part of our relationship with Cision, Brandwatch has adopted Cision’s positions on the following governance policies.
